Beer review: Knee Deep Brewing, Lupulin River IPA

Lupulin pours a light amber color with a decent off-white head. It smells amazing, there are hints of tropical fruits, a lot of citrus with undertones of piney hops. The taste is very similar to the nose, you get a nice citrus fruit flavor accompanied by a piney hop bite. There is a mild malt flavor to help balance out the flavor but this is a light DIPA that is incredibly drinkable. This Knee Deep beer holds its 8.0% ABV very well and is another great beer put out by the California brewing company. I give this beer 9.4 pints out of 10, it’s definitely worth a try if you find it at any of your local retailers.
