Carolina Panthers vs Denver Broncos:

A rematch of last year’s Super Bowl is a must watch game for week one. While the Bronco’s won the game fairly easily last year, there is a lot to look out for in the season opener. Denver has a new quarterback in Siemian starting his first regular season game. He has some big shoes (and a big helmet) to fill with the living legend Peyton Manning retiring last season. The Broncos didn’t get the best play out of their quarterback last year and it doesn’t look to improve much right away. Will the Panthers be able to capitalize on this or will the Denver defense be able to carry their team to yet another win against a strong Carolina team? This Panthers team has lost several players from the NFC champs roster, mainly on the defensive side of the ball. Who will come out victorious this time? Well as for the KBT picks we have Lefty taking the Broncos and the rest of us are going with the Panthers for the win.

Green Bay Packers vs Jacksonville Jaguars:

This is going to be a shootout. The Jaguars and Packers have two of the best offenses in football. It helps that Jordy Nelson will be back on the field after missing all of last year, and Bortles will have another year with the Allens. This year the Jaguars are looking to take that next step by making the playoffs. While the writers at KBT believe that they have a good chance of making it, there are many people who believe that the Packers are one of the best teams in football this year. The picks are unanimous for the Packers but it should be in a very entertaining and high scoring game.

Cincinnati Bengals vs New York Jets:

This might be the best matchup of the week, two very complete teams are going to be facing off in New York. The top ten defenses look to stymie some of the most productive offenses from 2015. While the Jets just missed the playoffs the Bengals limped in and lost in the wildcard game. Some of the best wide receivers in the league will be highlighted in this game as these teams have two of the best front sevens in football. The KBT writers are split in their picks for this game which promises to be a tight one. Pokejon and Griff are going with the Jets for the win while Lefty and myself are taking the Bengals in this one.

Oakland Raiders vs New Orleans Saints:

This game promises to be a fantasy football goldmine for anyone who plays Draftkings or Fanduel. The Saints have a great offense and one of the worst defenses in football, and the Raiders have one of the best young quarterbacks leading their offense. This game promises to be another shootout to match the Packers v Jaguars game. Drew Brees has plenty of weapons but he will have to look out for the ever dangerous Khalil Mack who many think could be this year’s defensive player of the year. I have the Raiders taking this game because they are the more complete team while the rest of the KBT writers are going with the Saints who have the better offense and home field advantage.
